Early Season Sigma Dinner/Dance
The Royal Ulster Yacht Club are hosting this year's early season NI Sigma Class get together on Friday 16th March.
All very welcome tickets cost £20 for yacht club members and £23 for non-members. The dress code is Jacket and tie for men and smart casual for ladies. Booking via RUYC office.
The menu is a hot/cold buffet and with a late license it's dancing to late !

NI fleet to hold it's first ever local Championship
The Quoile Yacht Club in Strangford will host the first ever Sigma NI Championship. The event will take place on the 28th-29th July 2012. Organiser Ross Boyd commented "Strangford Lough is a hidden treasure with excellent sailing waters combined with beautiful scenery".
The event is hoping to attract as many NI Sigmas as possible with hopefully some visitors from IOM, Dublin and Scotland.

2012 Class Championship returns to Ireland
The 2012 Sigma Class Championships are returning to Dublin, our hosts this year will by the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire. The event will be held from the 22nd-24th June.
Tim Goodbody (White Mischief) reigning Class and Irish Champion will be hoping to retain the trophies he won in Bangor in 2011. The Class are hoping to attract a fleet of 20 plus this year and expressions of interest in traveling is gathering pace with local boats Squawk, Blues, Sula all making plans and hoping that Impulz, Challenger and Cariad will join them.
Two Strangford Lough boats Signet of Kip and Mithril are intent in traveling South. There are high hopes of other NI boats as well boats from Scotland, Liverpool, IOM and Abersoch participating.
